ARKA Ballet’s mission is to bring high-level dance to diverse audeinces and to nurture, develop and showcase international level dance talent through inspiring and challenging choreography. ARKA Ballet is committed to the development of the art of ballet as a contemporary form of expression.

Artistic Vision

Dance and movement are natural to the universe. At its highest level, dance is a dynamic tool for awakening and stirring the subtle forces and energies of life. It is a means of focusing and directing consciousness through physical movement. It is an outer expression of the inner spirit.

Dance has the power to touch people’s hearts, minds and souls, and fill their lives with purpose, beauty, love and hope.

ARKA Ballet is a not-for-profit, 501(c) 3 tax-exempt organization, incorporated in the District of Columbia.
