1999 - ARKA Ballet premieres at the Kennedy Center. The gala program features talented, young professional dancers in a performance of traditional classics and new contemporary works. This blend of old and new, including rarely seen gems of the classical ballet repertoire and premieres of brand-new works, quickly becomes the trademark of ARKA Ballet's thoughtful and inspiring programs.

2000 - 2008 - Performances throughout the greater Washington DC area, including at the Kennedy Center, Lisner Auditorium, Kay Theatre and American Dance Institute.

2001 - ARKA Ballet is invited to perform at the 1700th Anniversary Celebrations of Christianity in Armenia to take place in New York's Central Park and artistic director Roudolf Kharatian is commissioned to create two new works for this occasion: "Vartanank" and "St. Greogry's Prayer"

2004 - The highlight of ARKA Ballet's 5th anniversary is a tour to Armenia at the invitation of the National Philharmonic. ARKA Ballet performs to great acclaim in the main Opera House in Yerevan.
