Then, on November 30, it’s Dance for Life in the Terrace Theater. Finally, December 8 through 15, it’s "Meet Mr. Beethoven!" in the Concert Hall.

Music That Moves is a National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) Family Series concert featuring the music of Mozart, Copland, Borodin, Ellington, Debussy, and more. For this special concert, the NSO is joined on stage by dancers performing ballet, folk, modern, swing, ballroom and flamenco. Dance for Life is a gala evening of dance which will benefit the Whitman Walker Clinic in Washington, DC. The evening features performances by ARKA Ballet, Bowen McCauley Dance, Maryland Youth Ballet, Tony Powell/Music and Movement, and The Washington Ballet. In December, ARKA Ballet will be featured as part of Meet Mr. Beethoven, a National Symphony Orchestra Young People’s Concert. This educational concert highlights excerpts of Beethoven’s greatest symphonies along with a minuet by Haydn and is geared to students grades 3 to 6. All the programs highlight original choreography by area choreographers, including ARKA Ballet’s Artistic Director, Roudolf Kharatian.
