| ARKA BALLET GALA RESCHEDULED |

Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Terrace Theater. The Inaugural International Gala Performance was originally scheduled for January 15, however the worst ice storm in 50 years put the lights out at the Performing Arts Center and forced cancellation of the program. Under the artistic direction of company founder Roudolf Kharatian, ARKA Ballet is Washington, DC newest professional ballet company. The Inaugural Gala will mark the official launch of ARKA Ballet. The program features Washington area dancers, young international stars and Gold Medalists in a mixed program of classical and contemporary work. ARKA Ballets debut has been greatly anticipated by the Washington area community and the January 15 performance was sold out. Ticket-holders have supportively awaited the event to be rescheduled. All January 15 ticket-holders that wish to attend the rescheduled event must contact ARKA Ballet as soon as possible at (703) 330-0335 to ensure that they receive replacement tickets for the new date. Only Kennedy Center tickets will be accepted for the April 3 performance. Additional tickets for the April 3 performance are available at the Kennedy Center Box Office, or by phone at (202) 467-4600, beginning March 28, 1999. Tickets are $25.
